I hold an MSc in Project Management from the University of Sunderland London and received a Project Award from the Association for Project Management (APM).

About Me

I’m Baris Yurttas — a UK-based AI entrepreneur and IT consultant with a background in digital health innovation.
I hold an MSc in Project Management (Merit) from the University of Sunderland London and was honoured with a Project Excellence Award by the Association for Project Management (APM).

My journey began with a clear ambition: to design human-friendly, efficient AI systems that solve real-world problems.
After hands-on experience managing IT operations for a private health clinic, I founded a UK-registered IT company to deliver digital solutions — and through it, I developed the AI Clinic Assistant: a fully functional, voice-based automation system that books and reschedules appointments over landlines using natural GPT-4 conversations, without relying on cloud telephony or technical support.

The system was successfully tested in a real-world setting at a clinic run by an NHS-affiliated doctor, where it received positive feedback from reception staff and clinicians alike — validating its real-world applicability and alignment with UK healthcare needs.

In addition to my AI work, I’ve served as Deputy Project Manager on two enterprise-level MIS projects in Turkey, each achieving 15–20% cost reductions and measurable operational improvements.
