I'm an AI entrepreneur building voice-first automation for healthcare and private clinics.

I developed M Clinic: a scalable AI telephone receptionist that books, reschedules and cancels appointments through natural voice conversations — with real-time Google Calendar sync, SMS confirmations, and a dedicated UK phone number.

The project started as an open-source experiment and evolved through 9 versions into a fully commercial product now serving private clinics in London.

I hold an MSc in Project Management from the University of Sunderland London and received a Project Award from the Association for Project Management (APM).

My mission: To build scalable AI solutions for real-world problems — in healthcare and beyond.

About Me

I'm Baris Yurttas — a UK-based AI entrepreneur and IT consultant with a background in digital health innovation. I hold an MSc in Project Management (Merit) from the University of Sunderland London and was honoured with a Project Excellence Award by the Association for Project Management (APM).

My journey began with a clear ambition: to design human-friendly, efficient AI systems that solve real-world problems. After hands-on experience managing IT operations for a private health clinic, I founded a UK-registered IT company (Citizen Peace Limited) to deliver digital solutions — and through it, I developed M Clinic: an AI-powered telephone receptionist that handles appointment booking, rescheduling and cancellation through natural voice conversations using OpenAI's GPT-4o Realtime API, with Google Calendar integration, SMS confirmations, and a dedicated UK phone number for each clinic.

The system was initially prototyped and tested in a real clinical setting in London, receiving positive feedback from both reception staff and clinicians. It has since evolved from an open-source prototype into a commercial product, now available for private healthcare providers including solo practitioners, beauty clinics, and specialist practices.

In addition to my AI work, I've served as Deputy Project Manager on two enterprise-level MIS projects in Turkey, each achieving 15–20% cost reductions and measurable operational improvements.

My mission is simple: "To become a one-man unicorn — building scalable AI tools that make systems more human, not less."

A note on open-source: The early versions of this project (V1–V9) were shared openly on GitHub to contribute to the community and document the development journey. As the system evolved into a full-duplex, real-time voice platform with commercial capabilities, the codebase is no longer open-source. However, all early versions remain publicly available on GitHub as a reference for anyone interested in the technical foundations of the project.
